Summit Park 220170 - $8000

Farrer 210162 - $11,800

  • This ram is a very interesting tool we look forward to using. He combines trait leading growth and muscle figures (Top 1 %) with a very high PFAT score. This combination is hard to find, and we are thrilled to have secured this sire for our use. He is structurally correct, white and smooth with an excellent top line on a medium frame.

Sheep Genetics

  • Purchased privately from Steve & Debbie Milne.

This ram was sold too cheap to us considering the impact he had on our stud and on us. Affectionately named β€˜Steve’ around the farm he was used 4 joinings in a row and helped us realise the power of ASBV’s. He introduced a muscle shape in our sheep that we were lacking and became the turning point for our stud’s breeding.

8 years old, his PEMD figure remains in the top 5% of the current drop terminal average.

For us, stud breeding comes down to two things:

Identifying and multiplying those genetics that drive profit at the highest possible rate in the form of feed conversion – grass to meat.

Raise a highly efficient working ram in a way that maximises his ability to cover ewes and ensure longevity for maximum return on investment for our clients.
